So many rubber boots are stiff and inflexible and sized to be worn sloppy. Rubber boot manufacturers do this because inflexible materials are less expensive. But this forces them to size up so that you can get their boots off your feet after a day of working or walking. Of course, these ill-fitting boots offer little support which can lead to an array of comfort issues.
Dryshod boots are made of natural rubber which is more flexible than the less expensive PVC or urethane impregnated rubber used by others. Plus, the 5mm Densoprene (a material used for drysuits) used to make a Dryshod boot is also naturally more flexible. Finally, the AirMesh lining is 4-way stretch, too. All of this stretch allows us to make properly sized boots to an athletic shoe sizing standard. This ensures a much better “LegitFit” to go with better stability resulting in all-day comfort.
